How to grow healthy String of Pearls succulent
String of Pearls is a beautiful succulent. It grows like a string with pearl like leaves and it can potted as a hanging plant. You can propagate it from its cuttings. It can be kept indoors provided you provide it with morning sunlight for 2-3 hours. While planting make sure the soil is well drained and water sparingly after 4-5 days in winters. I am walking about winters here as they do not require much water during winters. According to my experience winter is the perfect time to grow this plant. In summers you might have to take care little about water but just maintain the well drain soil concept. It has those little flowers which smell like cloves and they look beautiful. Here is a small String of pearls plant in my garden. I have grown it from a cutting and it will take some time to grow those long tresses aka pearls which can hang from the container.
